New Review: 5 Angels from Fallen Angel Reviews

Lindy Campbell is known to all as a Vamphue, neither full vampire nor human. Having been bitten and not fully turned her life was almost destroyed. Now she the Director of Vampire Affairs, and it is her job to find out and stop the person who is staking vampires and leaving them to burn in the sun.Malcolm Montay is the one vampire who’s help she will need, and is the one who’s responsible for nearly destroying her life. If he has his way, then he will finish the job he started. For he intends to make her his bride for eternity.Lindy’s only hope is the one man who broke her heart when she became one of the so-called bloodsuckers. Detective Joe Andrews, who is still the only man she loves. Even while cursing him for dumping her, it has not dampened the fire between them. Her cravings are getting worse and Joe is the only one who can satisfy them. Now you put a vampire killer loose in the city and a vamp that has set her sites on Joe, not to mention the Mayor constantly harping for Lindy to find the killer, can you blame her for being cranky? Can Lindy keep her sanity while trying to take care of everyone as well as fight her cravings during the times she vamps out? Or will she have to surrender to Malcolm in the end and sacrifice her human side completely?Cravings is a very unique story of one woman who is neither in the vampire’s world nor the human’s. Between Lindy’s transitions from human to vampire and fighting her vampire nature every step, you actually feel the cravings and the fighting going on inside her yourself. Miss Adkins gives you an original perspective on what could happen if a person bitten by a vampire, and yet did not fully turn. This story is fast paced and exciting from the beginning to the ending. If you like Vampire novels, not to mention some twisted storylines, then Cravings is the perfect one for you. I for one am hoping to find another novel like this one from Miss Adkins because I will definitely read it.
